Veterans' Pathway to Peace Project

An Extensive, Bold & Essential Psilocybin-Assisted Study for PTSD & Major Depression:

* Ascertaining which of 4 Micro Dosing Patterns is most effective
* What length of Micro Dosing, would be optimal for Recovery
* How the microdosing might affect a full dose psilocybin journey.

Welcome to Veterans Pathway to Peace Project

Are you a Veteran struggling with PTSD and major depression? Have traditional treatments failed to provide lasting relief? The Veterans Pathway to Peace Project is launching a significant study on the effects of four (4) different protocols for micro-dosing psilocybin-assisted therapy for PTSD and depression. This study, building on the available scientific literature, aims to define a clear and effective path to healing:

  • determining the effectiveness of dosing schedules,

  • determining if there is an optimal length for micro-dosing

  • determining the benefit that longer-term micro-dosing might have on PTSD and depression symptoms

About the Study

  • Who: We are recruiting 450 U.S. military veterans diagnosed with PTSD or Major Depression

  • What: An 8-week micro-dosing protocol followed by a full-dose psilocybin journey under state-licensed supervision.

  • Online questionnaires (~30 minutes to fill out) 11 times within a 2-year period will offer data as to which patterns and duration of dosing are most effective in eliminating symptoms and improving quality of life.

  • Why: To determine (finally) an effective, and transformative treatment option for PTSD & Major depression- aiming to improve mental health and quality of life.

  • Where: Conducted in licensed psilocybin centers in Oregon, particularly Ashland, OR, and Portland, OR.

  • How: The Scientific Study name: An Observational, Longitudinal, Cohort Study with Open-Label and Quasi-Experimental Design ( which may have no relevance to you personally. )

  • Funding: Through the Grace of Funding by Generous Souls who have the wisdom to see the value of this work. And who are kind-hearted. We All Thank You.

  • Funding: Open soon.

Why Participate?

  • Because it could mean the difference between life and death for you.

  • Because the best protocols for Micro-Dosing are not known- neither dosage, patterns or length. You could be part of determining this valuable information, which in turn could help millions of others.

  • This is a large study. Because there are many variables to account for. And so it will have statistical value. This in turn would help get relief to many many more in great need, sooner than too late.

  • Experience a therapeutic approach to PTSD treatment that just might work.

  • Be part of a supportive, veteran-focused healing community.

  • Help pave the way for future advancements in PTSD therapy.

  •  Cost to participants—$500. Scholarships are available for those in need. All sessions will be covered by grantors' funding with the exception of $500.00.

How It Works

  1. Microdosing Phase: 8 weeks of micro-dosing with psilocybin, with three groups using different microdosing protocols to determine which is most effective.

  2. Full-Dose Session: With a Certified Psilocybin Facilitator at the conclusion of microdosing.

  3. Follow-Up & Support: Ongoing online assessments (11 in total) and integration sessions to support long-term healing.

  4. Longitudinal Study Commitment: Participants will need to complete 11 online questionnaires over a two-year period to help determine changes & long-term benefits, and whether there is a pattern or need for re-dosing at specific time points.

  5. The information received in the 11 questionnaires over a 2-year period is crucial to assessing how long both the micro-dosing and full dose journey are effective in alleviating symptoms of PTSD and depression.  Due to some previous longitudinal studies with psilocybin showing a 75% dropout rate, it is imperative that you be diligent about completing all of the questionnaires.
